Notes on small software — building, deploying, and keeping it running.

About

MayWares is a personal blog where I write down how I build and run small pieces of software — the kind that fit in your head, deploy with rsync, and keep working for years with minimal babysitting.

I care about boring technology: static files over frameworks, SQLite over clusters, plain config files over orchestration. Most posts here are notes I originally wrote for myself, cleaned up just enough to be useful to someone else.

Everything on this site is served as static HTML from a single small VPS. There is no build pipeline beyond a makefile, no analytics, and no comments — if something here helped you or is wrong, that's what email is for.
